Wallpaper Rainbow Treasures Mud Grey

Majvillan is a Swedish brand launched in 2013 by Charlotta Sandberg who has been an artist and painter for many years. The name Majvillan comes from the designer's residential house called Majvillan (‘Maj’ meaning May in Swedish). The wallpaper is made in Sweden’s oldest print house using traditional technology with the latest innovations to ensure a manufacturing process as eco-friendly as possible. The colours used are water based and completely free from solvents and PVC. The wallpaper has a very beautiful surface where you can feel the colour structure with your bare hand. In Charlotta Sandberg’s words: “When I design patterns, I am inspired by the feeling that I want them to radiate. I love creating small worlds and places to visit. The colours are really important, a colour can be so much more than just a colour. I'm looking for shades and shapes which are happy, clever and restful at the same time.”
