Delivery, Return & Cancellation Policy

Delivery Policy

All orders are processed within 1 working day after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive an email notification when your order has been sent out for delivery. Please note that your order is not final until you receive such email notification and we reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason until such time.

Applicable charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Local delivery

Free delivery is available for orders over €20 across Malta and Gozo.

Delivery of orders with large furniture, including but not limited to beds, shall be restricted to ground floor level only. We will assist you to procure the services of the lifter/crane on your behalf but you shall be responsible to obtain all permits that are required for the job in question.

In view of the inherent danger in the lifting of goods by mechanical means, we are exempted from the responsibility for this aspect of delivery and the legal responsibility shall remain between you and the service provider of the lifter/crane. Any damage to any person/s as well as any property or goods to whomsoever they belong that may result from the carriage of the lifter/crane and the goods being lifted shall be at the risk and responsibility of the customer even though we may be actively assisting in the delivery operation in loading and offloading of the goods in question.

You shall ensure that all items in the premises that are breakable or can otherwise suffer damage during the carriage of goods at the delivery address are removed beforehand to provide proper unrestricted access throughout. No responsibility shall attach to us for any damage to floors, walls and/or banisters that may be damaged during delivery.

Assembly & Installation

Assembly & Installation of items of furniture and certain toys is excluded from the price of your order. We can assist you to procure the appropriate assembly/installation services on your behalf upon request.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping worldwide.  For applicable shipping rates, please contact us on info@whimsycastle.mt.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Whimsy Castle is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Refund & Return Policy

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, without any damages, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. To process a return, you can contact us at info@whimsycastle.mt and if your return is accepted, we will send you the appropriate instructions. You may opt to exchange the item or request a refund. We will refund the full order amount less the shipping costs for the return.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for its replacement.

Goods that have been made to order in a specific finish or colour as per your specifications cannot be returned.

If your order is received damaged or defective, we will endeavour to repair it or a replacement will be manufactured and delivered as soon as possible. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained for a replacement for damaged or missing goods unless it is notified to the delivery personnel or directly to us at the time of delivery. The manufacturer’s warranty on faulty goods remains valid for the period it is given. In case of damage or defect, you shall only be entitled to retain a maximum 10% value of the invoice till the defect is remedied or a replacement is supplied.

Cancellation Policy

Your order is not subject to unilateral cancellation and Whimsy Castle may refuse a cancellation at its sole discretion without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Requests for cancellation following the settlement of a deposit shall not entitle you to a refund of the deposit and such cancellations shall automatically result in the loss of the total amount corresponding to the deposit paid.
